Building Information Modeling (BIM) is becoming a core platform for information management in the architecture and engineering industries. It improves design methods, shortens design cycles, controls cost, improves quality, and supports lifecycle services. CSADI maintains a professional BIM design and consulting team with capabilities in integrated BIM design, R&D, consulting, and training. A full R&D and application system has been established, achieving strong results in BIM design and consulting practice.

 

1. BIM-based collaborative design platform

From process, coordination, and management dimensions, the Company has built a collaborative design platform on BIM, supporting refined design and significantly improving design quality and efficiency.

 

2. BIM application research through the project lifecycle

Research on BIM application runs through planning, design, construction, and operations. Using BIM design as the foundation, CSADI explores application value for each project stage.

Parametric design and digital construction

Digital construction methods are integrated with BIM to guide architectural form generation, construction logic, design development, and construction documentation, connecting digital design with industrial fabrication.

Lifecycle information delivery

Through digital BIM application studies across project phases, modeling depth requirements suited to planning, design, construction, and operations have been summarized to support seamless information delivery across the building lifecycle.

 

3. Simulation and analysis driven by BIM

Engineering digitization enables simulation: design model data are parsed and exported to specialized tools for energy, indoor environment, safety, and other analyses to guide and optimize design.

4. BIM standards participation and technical training

Following national requirements for construction informatization, CSADI participates in national and provincial BIM-related standards preparation and BIM outreach, including collaborative work on P-BIM software technology and information exchange standards for structural steel design and for HVAC design, provincial regulations such as Hubei technical provisions for BIM in building engineering design and Wuhan BIM application guidelines, as well as continuing education curricula for registered architects organized by Hubei authorities.
